광주U대회 세계 대학생 LTE 방송국 유니브로(www.uni-bro.com)가 7월 1일 개국식을 갖고 첫 방송을 송출했다.
The international university student LTE on-line broadcasting station ‘Uni-Bro’ has launched ceremony and televised on 1st of July.
광주U대회 주경기장인 광주월드컵경기장 북문 옆 마켓스트리트에 건립된 유니브로(주간 정 철)는 이날 오후 2시 박상철 호남대학교 부총장과 광주U대회조직위 유지현 대변인, 광주광역시의회 김용집 환경복지위원장과 유니브로 대학생 기자 등 100여명이 참석한 가운데 개국 행사를 갖고 모바일 방송을 시작했다.
Uni-Bro station is established next to market street (the north gate) at Gwang-Ju World Cup Stadium which is the main stadium during the Universiade.
Today, Uni-Bro start the mobile broadcast and has launched ceremony with Park Sang Chul (vice-president of Honam University), Anna Jihyun You (Gwang-Ju Universiade organizing committee Press Secretary), Kim Yong Jyb (Gwang-Ju Metropolitan Council Chairman of Environment & Welfare Committee) Uni-Bro student reporter etc.
사상 최초로 시도되는 세계 대학생 LTE 방송국 유니브로는 호남대 통합뉴스센터 학생기자들을 주축으로 미국 유타대, 중국 산동관리대, 이화여대, 한양대, 울산대, 전남대 등 국내외 7개 대학 학생기자와 방송국원 등 60여명이 참여하고 있다.
The world’s first LTE on-line broadcasting station Uni-Bro is composed of Honam News Center’s student reporters and participated with 60 student reporters and staffs from University of Utah, San-dong Gwanli University, Ehwa University, Hanyang University, Ulsan University, Chonnam University and etc.
이들은 광주U대회 경기 소식은 물론 대회 기간 중 펼쳐지는 세계청년축제 등의 다양한 문화 행사의 현장 뉴스와 영상을 전 세계로 송출해 모바일과 인터넷으로 시청할 수 있도록 유투브(YouTube)로 서비스할 계획이다.
During the game, university student LTE on-line broadcasting station ‘Uni-Bro’ updated the Universiade news and various events will be broadcast around the world via You-Tube.
또 광주와 한국을 알리기 위한 ‘WOW! 광주’ 등 사전 제작 프로그램을 통해 무등산 등 광주의 명소와 맛집, 경기장 소개 영상 등 학생기자들이 만든 다양한 영상을 송출한다.
Moreover, pre-production program ‘WoW! Gwang-Ju’ made by student reporters will be held to let people know the Gwang-Ju and Korea’s tourist attraction .
특히 유니브로는 광주U대회 주관 방송사인 KBS의 모바일 방송 ‘마이 K’와의 협력을 통해 일부 프로그램을 공동제작 함으로써 방송의 퀄리티를 높이고 참여 학생들에게 방송전문가와 함께 방송 실무를 체험하는 교육적인 효과도 거둘 수 있게 됐다.
Specially, Uni-Bro go through cooperation with KBS mobile broadcast ‘My K’ which is host broadcaster of Universiade.

아울러 ‘광주U대회 베스트 샷’ 이벤트 등 다양한 시청자 참여 프로그램을 통해 푸짐한 경품을 제공할 예정이다.
And also, through ‘Gwang-Ju U-game best shot’ and other events will give a generous gift to people.
